Médaille décernée à Alphonse Bard (1850-1942) en 1892.
Après des études de lettres, Il devient docteur en droit en 1874 puis avocat à la cour d’appel de Paris. Il commence sa carrière de magistrat comme substitut de la République à Marseille puis à Paris en 1879. Il sera ensuite directeur des Affaires civiles et du Sceau au ministère de la Justice, en 1888. Puis, il devient, le 16 avril 1892, conseiller à la Cour de cassation, à l’occasion de laquelle il recevra cette médaille.
Medal awarded to Alphonse Bard (1850-1942) in 1892. After studying literature, he became a doctor of law in 1874 and then a lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal. He began his career as a magistrate as a substitute for the Republic in Marseille and then in Paris in 1879. He then became Director of Civil Affairs and the Seal at the Ministry of Justice in 1888. Then, on April 16, 1892, he became a counselor at the Court of Cassation, on the occasion of which he received this medal.
