Monnaie exceptionnelle, bien frappée, d’une très bonne conservation et avec une splendide patine noire brillante

Commentary
La main est - comme l'ensemble de la monnaie - particulièrement bien venue, et mise en valeur par la patine. La main coupée se retrouve en cantonnement de certaines monnaies dites "à la croix" mais aussi sur les statères attribués aux Pictons.

The coinage of Kastilo was very important and lasted until the Augustan period. We have a kind of monetary system with aces, semis and quadrans. The location of this workshop is given in Calzona Linares in the province of Jaén. The toponym is written in Iberian characters.
