Obverse description : Tête chauve à gauche, l'arcade sourcilière fortement marquée.

Reverse description : Sanglier enseigne à gauche, la queue enroulée ; entre les pattes, petite tête humaine dont on distingue les traits.

Commentary

Ce potin appartient à la même série que la monnaie précédente, mais d'un traitement beaucoup plus grossier ; le droit n'a plus de casque, mais a une tête chauve. Quant au revers, le sanglier est simplifié et la tête traitée en globules. H. Patat donne l'appellation "au bonnet". Ces deux variantes de têtes pourraient être mises en relation avec les potins du "type de Pommiers", connus avec la tête chauve et avec la tête casquée.
This boar belongs to the same series as the previous coin, but with a much cruder treatment; the obverse no longer has a helmet, but has a bald head. As for the reverse, the boar is simplified and the head treated as globules. H. Patat gives the name \\\"with a cap\\\". These two variants of heads could be linked to the \\\"Pommiers type\\\" boars, known with the bald head and with the helmeted head.
