Commentary
An interesting double strike, with part of the obverse legend appearing on the reverse and part of the reverse legend on the obverse! This reverse is very important, having been used for the first time in coinage as such after the establishment of the new mint in Rome during the reign of Domitian. It was later adopted by Antoninus Pius, Septimius Severus, Caracalla, and Elagabalus.
