Obverse description : Buste drapé de Tranquilline à droite, avec stéphané, vu de trois quarts en avant, posé sur le croissant (L15).

Reverse legend : LS.

Reverse description : Tyche debout à gauche, tenant un gouvernail de la main droite et une corne d’abondance de la main gauche.

Commentary

Curieusement, l’atelier de Rome ne frappa que très peu de monnaies au nom de la femme de Gordien III, alors que l’atelier d’Egypte frappa monnaie en son nom durant plusieurs années.
