Coments on the condition:
Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visible. Très beau portrait de Gordien III. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Patine grise superficielle avec des reflets dorés

Reverse description : Gordien III à cheval au pas à gauche, vêtu militairement, levant la main droite et tenant un sceptre de la gauche.
Reverse translation : “Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestate tertium Consul Pater Patriæ”, (Grand pontife revêtu de la troisième puissance tribunitienne consul père de la patrie).

Rubans de type 3. Ptéryges fines sous le paludamentum. La septième émission de Rome se décompose en deux phases, l’une pour l’or et l’argent et la seconde pour le bronze. Pour l’argent, nous n’avons que des deniers.
