Exemplaire sur un flan large et irrégulier, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de Géta. Revers de style fin avec une petite faiblesse de frappe sur la tête. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Caesar

Born on May 26, 189, Geta became Caesar in 198 and received the title of pontifex the following year. He accompanies his father and his brother to Brittany from 208 and is raised to Augustat the following year. When Septimius Severus died in York on February 4, 211, the two brothers brought their father's ashes back to Rome and became co-emperors. But they hate each other. Finally, after a year of joint rule, Caracalla kills his brother in their mother's arms. Geta is dedicated to "damnatio memoriæ" (damnation of memory). His supporters are systematically massacred.
