Exemplaire sur un flan ovale à l’usure importante, mais parfaitement lisible et identifiable. Monnaie parfaitement centrée au droit avec un beau portrait. Joli revers, légèrement décentré à 9 heures. Patine noire aux reflets brillants

Consecration of Claudius
Germanicus is the eldest son of Nero Drusus and Antonia. He was born in 15 BC and was adopted in 4 at the same time as Tiberius. He led numerous campaigns on the Rhine-Danubian limes and received the triumph in 17. He was then sent to Syria with a proconsular imperium and died in 19 in Antioch, perhaps assassinated at the instigation of Tiberius by Pison (Suetonius) . He is the father of Caligula and young Agrippina as well as the brother of Claude.
