Bronze sur un flan un peu court, mais avec les types de droit et de revers bien centrés et complets. Usure marquée ou frappe faible par endroits, avec une patine verte

Obverse description : Tête masculine à droite, ornée d’une coiffure particulière ; légende ibérique devant le visage.
Reverse
Reverse legend : NERONKEN.
Reverse description : Animal hybride à droite, composé d'un protomé de cheval ailé et d'une queue de reptile (?) enroulée sur elle-même ; légende ibérique à l'exergue.
Commentary
Les légendes sont difficilement lisibles. Au droit, la tête a une sorte de bonnet dont l'extrémité retombe sur le dessus de la tête.

This small people is neither cited by Ptolemy nor by Strabo any more than by Caesar. He must have belonged to the more general group of Longostaletes, in the region between Narbonne and Béziers. It is the recent excavations, carried out over the past thirty years, which have made it possible to restore to the oppida of Montlaurès and Ensérune the importance they had acquired between the creation of the province of Narbonnaise, in 118 BC. C., and the end of the Gallic Wars.
