Obverse description : Tête ceinte d’un bandeau à gauche, la chevelure indiquée par trois mèches, le cou par trois petits traits.

Reverse description : Sanglier enseigne à gauche, la queue en une sorte d’annelet ; double volute surmontée d’une troisième sur une ligne d'exergue pointée en son centre et à ses extrémités, globule au-dessus.

Commentary

Cette classe Ic2 se distingue de la précédente par la coiffure du droit qui est plus étirée que sur la classe Ic1. Le revers est agrémenté d'un globule placé entre le sanglier et la triple volute. Tous les exemplaires appartenant à la classe Ic2 sont reconnaissables par la combinaison des mèches étirées et du globule au revers. Mais il est difficile, au regard des exemplaires de qualité moyenne, d'assurer que le bandeau est en forme d'aiguille ou simple et lisse ou encore torsadé mais usé et donc devenu lisse.
This class Ic2 is distinguished from the previous one by the hairstyle on the obverse, which is more stretched than on class Ic1. The reverse is decorated with a globule placed between the boar and the triple volute. All examples belonging to class Ic2 are recognizable by the combination of stretched locks and the globule on the reverse. But it is difficult, with regard to examples of average quality, to ensure that the headband is needle-shaped or simple and smooth or twisted but worn and therefore become smooth
