Commentary

Ce statère, d’un poids lourd, semble être en argent. Les types de droit et de revers sont particulièrement bien frappés. Cet exemplaire (très proche du DT. 2262) semble être transitoire, entre le profil de style figuratif et celui de style géométrique.
This heavy stater appears to be made of silver. The obverse and reverse types are particularly well struck. This example (very close to DT. 2262) appears to be transitional, between the figurative style profile and the geometric style profile.
