Coments on the condition:
Bronze exceptionnel pour ce type déjà rare. Flan assez large pour avoir l’ensemble des types de droit et de revers, avec une magnifique patine verte. Notons cependant une légère oxydation à 7 heures au revers en bord de flan

Obverse description : Au-dessus d'un rameau qui traverse le champ, petit sanglier et cheval qui détourne la tête face à face ; les animaux sont entourés d’annelets centrés ; une croisette au-dessus.

Reverse description : Sanglier enseigne à droite ; sous le groin, une rouelle à quatre rayons ; sous le sanglier, deux petits annelets superposés ; double ligne d'exergue pointée.

Ce bronze correspond en tous points au DT. 2458A ; ces deux monnaies semblent avoir été frappée avec le même coin de droit, mais pas de revers.

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(3rd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
