Commentary

Feuardent indique “jeton qui paraît hybride, fait de deux revers (sic pour droit). Il est possible que ce jeton ait été frappé au commencement de l’année pour indiquer le changement de légende du revers”. Il s’agit en fait d’un jeton pour le service des comptes de la ville de Besançon.
Feuardent indicates “a token that appears to be hybrid, made of two reverses (sic for right). It is possible that this token was struck at the beginning of the year to indicate the change in legend on the reverse.” It is in fact a token for the accounts department of the city of Besançon
