Pièce de la série des Euros or et argent de la Monnaie de Paris. Cette 250 Euro en or a, en théorie, cours légal en France.
En 2008 ont été émis les pièces de 5 et 15 Euro argent et 100 Euro or. En 2009 sont parues les 10 et 25 Euro argent, la 250 Euro or et en supplément la 100 euro or 2009. Pour finir en 2010 seront émises les pièces de 50 Euro argent et 500 Euro or. Cette série est composée comme une bande-dessinée, chaque coupure détaillant un geste de la semeuse. Mises bout à bout les 8 coupures composent le portrait de la semeuse lançant des étoiles.

In 2008, the 5 and 15 Euro silver coins and the 100 Euro gold coin were issued. In 2009, the 10 and 25 Euro silver coins, the 250 Euro gold coin and, in addition, the 100 Euro gold coin 2009 were issued. Finally, in 2010, the 50 Euro silver and 500 Euro gold coins will be issued. This series is composed like a comic strip, with each denomination detailing a gesture of the sower. Placed end to end, the 8 denominations compose the portrait of the sower throwing stars.
