Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait. Revers de style fin. Une fine patine avec des reflets dorés recouvre cet exemplaire

Obverse description : Buste diadémé et drapé de Faustine jeune à droite avec un petit chignon ramené derrière la tête, vu de trois quarts en avant (L).

Reverse legend : SAECVLI FELICIT.
Reverse description : Trône sur lequel sont placés deux bébés (Commode et Antonin).

Commentary
Poids léger. Il existe pour ce denier au moins deux variétés avec le buste de Faustine diadémé ou pas.

Augusta
Young Faustina, the daughter of Antoninus and Faustina Mother, was born between 128 and 132. She married Marc Aurèle in 145 and received the title of augusta in 146. She had thirteen children, seven of whom survived childhood. A very important coinage is struck until his death in 175 in Halala at the foot of Mount Taurus in Cappadocia.
