Exemplaire parfaitement centré sur un flan régulier. Petites faiblesses de frappe sur les motifs centraux. La monnaie présente une faible usure et plusieurs petits coups sur la tranche issus d’une possible monture. Elle est revêtue d’une fine patine

SPAIN - KINGDOM OF SPAIN - PHILIPPE V BOURBON

(1700-1746)

Philippe, Duke of Anjou (1683-1746) was the grand-son of Louis XIV. On the death of Charles II of Spain in 1700, he was appointed king by will. It took thirteen years to conquer his kingdom, having as a competitor Charles III of Habsburg (the future Charles VI of Austria). He is the ancestor of the Spanish Bourbons still prevail today. By becoming king of Spain and the Indies, he had renounced all claims to the throne of France.
