Exemplaire sur un flan mince, bien centré des deux côtés. Portrait massif et large, très particulier. Revers inhabituel. Une jolie patine gris foncé avec des reflets métalliques dorés recouvre l’exemplaire

Obverse description : Buste radié, drapé et cuirassé de Constance Ier césar à droite vu de trois quarts en avant (A).

Reverse legend : CONCORDIA AVGG/ -|-// II.

Reverse description : Deux Concordes debout face à face, tenant chacune une corne d'abondance.

Reverse translation : “Concordia Augustorum”, (La Concorde des augustes).

Commentary

Poids léger. Avec les restes de son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum. Malgré la rareté de ce type, nous n’avons malheureusement pas relevé d’identité de coin pertinente. C’est le deuxième exemplaire photographié. Prendra le n° 543b dans le Supplément III du Bastien.
Lightweight. With remnants of its surface silvering. Type 3 ribbons with rounded ends. Pteryges invisible under the paludamentum. Despite the rarity of this type, we unfortunately did not find any relevant die identity. This is the second example photographed. Will take number 543b in Supplement III of Bastien
