Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très beau portrait juvénile. Joli revers, bien venu à la frappe. Belle patine marron foncé

Commentary
Rubans de type 2. Hybride associant un droit de Constantin II et un revers de Constantin Ier pour la trente-et-unième émission. Semble complètement inédit et non répertorié. Manque à tous les ouvrages consultés. De la plus grande rareté. Semble totalement officiel.

Caesar
Born in February 317 according to the most recent chronology, Constantine the Younger receives on coins the title of Caesar like his half-brother Crispus and his cousin Licinius, as well as the title of Prince of Youth. Constantine II is the eldest son of Constantine I and Fausta. In September 337, he received the "pars occidentalis" from the Empire with subjection to his brother Constans, Constantius II having the "pars orientalis". Very quickly, Constantin and Constans fall out. The eldest is eliminated in April 340.
