Exemplaire sur un petit flan irrégulier, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait. Revers de style très fin. Jolie patine verte

Obverse description : Buste lauré et cuirassé de Constantin II césar à droite drapé sur l’épaule, vu de trois quarts en avant (B*01).

Obverse translation : “Constantinus Iunior Nobilissimus Cæsar”, (Constantin le jeune très noble césar).

Reverse legend : GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS/ -|-// *SLG.

Reverse description : Deux soldats, vêtus militairement, tenant chacun une haste renversée de la main droite et un bouclier de la main gauche, debout face à face ; au milieu deux enseignes militaires.

Reverse translation : “Gloria Exercitus”, (La Gloire de l’armée).

Commentary

Poids léger. Rubans de type 3. Cuirasse et épaulière cloutées. Les ptéryges fines sont bien visibles. C’est la première fois que nous proposons ce type à la vente !.
