Exemplaire sur un flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés. Portrait de Commode taillé à la serpe. Frappe un peu molle au revers, mais bin venue. Patine verte

Obverse description : Buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé de Commode à droite, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A*2).

Reverse

Reverse description : Déméter voilée et drapée debout à droite, tenant une long sceptre de la main gauche et des épis de la main gauche.

Reverse legend : SEBAST-HNwN SUR/S-IE.

Reverse translation : (de Sébasté de Syrie).

Commodus succeeded his father Marc Aurèle, who died in Vienna on March 17, 180. He hastened to conclude a truce with the Germanic tribes and then abandoned public life. The Empire was successively governed by the prefects of the Praetorium, Perennis from 182 to 185, Cléandre from 185 to 190, who were both assassinated. Commodus suffocated on the night of December 31, 192.
