Exemplaire sur un petit flan irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de Claude II. Revers inhabituel. Patine marron foncé

Obverse legend : IMP CLAVDIVS AVG V (SIC).
Obverse description : Buste radié, drapé et cuirassé de Claude II à droite, vu de trois quarts en arrière (A2).
Obverse translation : “Imperator Claudius Augustus”, (L’empreur Claude auguste).
Reverse
Reverse legend : CONS-ESRA-TIO (SIC !).
Reverse description : Bûcher funéraire.
Reverse translation : “Consecratio”, (Consécration).
Commentary
Imitation (minimi). Monnaie associant un droit du vivant de Claude II avec un revers posthume. Sur cet exemplaire, le bûcher ressemble à un temple. C’est la première fois que nous proposons un tel hybride.
