Anhui is an eastern Chinese province made famous by the Huangshan Mountains: the low clouds hovering around granite boulders and twisted pines have inspired many classic paintings and poems. Trails and a cable car take you to the top of these mountains. Lian Hua Feng, the highest, culminates at 1,864 m.
