Ce denier tournois est frappé sur un flan assez large et légèrement irrégulier. Exemplaire recouvert d’une patine grise de médaillier et présentant des faiblesses de frappe. La croix du droit apparaît légèrement en négatif au revers

Commentary

Monnaie particulièrement rare pour Châteaudun au nom de Simon sans cantonnement au niveau de la croix du droit et dont un exemplaire a été signalé dans l’Annuaire de la Société Française de Numismatique, 1895, p. 456.
