Très bel exemplaire sur un flan large et bien centré avec le grènetis complet. Usure régulière sur les parties en relief. Léger encrassement dans les légendes. Belle patine grise

Joachim Murat, Caroline Bonaparte's husband, received the duchy of Berg and Clève on March 15, 1806. The small state had only 300,000 inhabitants. On August 1, 1806, the duchy joined the Confederation of the Rhine. At the end of 1806, Napoleon raised the duchy to a grand duchy. On July 15, 1808, Murat abandoned Berg and Clève to become King of Naples.
