Ce gros est frappé sur un flan large et régulier présentant un éclatement à 12 heures au revers. Exemplaire présentant une faiblesse de frappe au niveau de la partie droite du châtel et recouvert d’une jolie patine grise de médaillier

(1300-1317)

In 1300 Gui IV, Count of Saint-Pol, bought the land of Élincourt which belonged to the Empire. Gui IV had a mint established there where he imitated the coins of his neighbours. Marie de Bretagne succeeded him (1317-1339).
