Commentary

In 1995, following the Dayton Agreement, the convertible mark (Konvertible Marka) replaced the Serbian dinar, the Bosnian and Herzegovinian dinar and the Croatian kuna. Its parity is fixed on the Deutschmark (German mark), hence its name. Since 2002, following the introduction of the Euro, the parity has been the same as the Deutschmark, i.e. 1 EUR = 1.95583 BAM.
