En 1995 suite aux accords de Dayton, le mark convertible (Konvertible Marka) remplace le dinar serbe, le dinar de Bosnie Herzégovine et la kuna croate. Sa parité est fixée sur le Deutschmark (mark allemand) d’où son nom. Depuis 2002, suite à l’introduction de l’Euro, la parité est la même que le Deutschmark soit 1 EUR = 1.95583 BAM.
In 1995, following the Dayton Agreement, the convertible mark (Konvertible Marka) replaced the Serbian dinar, the Bosnian and Herzegovinian dinar and the Croatian kuna. Its parity is fixed on the Deutschmark (German mark), hence its name. Since 2002, following the introduction of the Euro, the parity has been the same as the Deutschmark, i.e. 1 EUR = 1.95583 BAM.
