En 2008 la Monnaie Belge a modifié l’avers des pièces Euro. Le monogramme du souverain (Albert II), un A majuscule couronné est désormais gravé dans la partie interne de la pièce (insert). Les initiales “BE” pour le pays ont par ailleurs étaient rajoutées sous ce monogramme..
