Abel Lafleur, né à Rodez en 1875 et mort à Boulogne-Billancourt le 27 janvier 1953, est un sculpteur et médailleur français.

Georges Pallain, né le 20 mars 1847 à Liancourt et mort le 12 mai 1923 à Paris, est un haut-fonctionnaire français qui fut gouverneur de la Banque de France.
Fils de Noël Désiré Pallain, pharmacien, et d'Anne Louise Élisabeth Garson, Georges Pallain fut licencié en droit avant d'épouser la belle-sœur d'Adolphe Cochery, nièce de Jules Hunebelle.
Il fut le secrétaire d'Ernest Picard puis l'exécuteur testamentaire de Victor Hugo.
Reçu membre du Conseil d’État, puis sous-préfet de 1871 à 1872, il devient trésorier-payeur général entre 1873 et 1876 avant d'être nommé Directeur général des Douanes de 1884 à 1897.
Il est nommé Gouverneur de la Banque de France le 24 décembre 1897 et donne sa démission le 25 août 1920.
Il fut maire de Gondreville-la-Franche..

Georges Pallain, born on March 20, 1847 in Liancourt and died on May 12, 1923 in Paris, is a senior French civil servant who was governor of the Bank of France. Son of Noël Désiré Pallain, pharmacist, and Anne Louise Élisabeth Garson, Georges Pallain graduated in law before marrying the sister-in-law of Adolphe Cochery, niece of Jules Hunebelle. He was the secretary of Ernest Picard then the executor of Victor Hugo's will. Received as a member of the Council of State, then sub-prefect from 1871 to 1872, he became general treasurer-paymaster between 1873 and 1876 before being appointed Director General of Customs from 1884 to 1897. He was appointed Governor of the Bank of France on December 24, 1897 and resigned on August 25, 1920. He was mayor of Gondreville-la-Franche.
