Exemplaire sur un flan légèrement décentré des deux côtés, irrégulier avec un petit éclat de flan à 9 heures derrière la tête. Beau portrait. Trace de double frappe au revers. Jolie patine grise

Euthydemos ousted Diodotus II, the son of Diodotus I, the first usurper in Bactria, who revolted against the authority of Antiochus II Theos (261-346 BC) around 250 BC The reign of Euthydemos was long and he had to face during his reign, Antiochus III the Great who fought him in Bactria and besieged Balkh in 208 BC. The Seleucid sovereign recognized the independence of the secessionist satrapy. At the end of his reign, Sogdiana separated from Bactria. Demetrius, already associated with the throne by his father succeeded Euthydemos.
