Historical background
COLLECTION CARS - PILOTS AND INVENTIONS
The automobile is a major technological invention that has considerably changed the societies of many countries during the 20th century. It originated in the 19th century during the Industrial Revolution, when technology gave pride of place to the steam engine as a source of energy, to then turn massively towards oil and the internal combustion engine, with the long-neglected competitor the electric motor.
