(1657-1705)

Leopold (1740-1705) is the son of Ferdinand III and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (1657-1705), King of the Germans, of Hungary, of Bohemia (1658-1705), Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Count of Tyrol. After the Turks raised the siege of Vienna (1683), he fought against France, in particular by supporting the rights of his son Charles to the Spanish succession (1700-1711).
