Reverse description : Saint Georges, nu, casqué, le manteau flottant sur l'épaule, tenant un glaive de la main droite, galopant à droite, terrassant un dragon.
Commentary
Pour l'atelier de Melbourne ce type a été frappé entre 1887 et 1893. La marque de l’atelier “S” est présente sous le sabot du cheval de Saint Georges.

Victoria I (1819-1901) was the daughter of Edward, Duke of Kent, and Victoria of Saxe Coburg. She succeeded her uncle William IV in 1837 and married Albert, Prince of Saxe Coburg Gotha (1819-1861), in 1840. She was the grandmother of noble Europe.
