Exemplaire au centrage quasi parfait. Beau droit de style incroyable et inhabituel et joli revers de frappe vigoureuse. Monnaie de toute beauté à l’usure très superficielle

Commentary

Ce type, bien que très proche du DT S 3403 A, semble totalement inédit avec la légende non pas au droit mais au revers en bord de flan.
Monnaie exceptionnelle et rarissime ! Bien qu’attribuée aux incertaines Lémovices, cette monnaie, avec des trouvailles situées principalement dans le Calvados et en Mayenne, serait plutôt à rapprocher du peuples des Aulerques Diablintes.
This type, although very close to the DT S 3403 A, seems completely new with the legend not on the obverse but on the reverse at the edge of the flan. Exceptional and extremely rare coin! Although attributed to the uncertain Lemovices, this coin, with finds located mainly in Calvados and Mayenne, would rather be related to the people of the Aulerques Diablintes
