Exemplaire sur un flan large, légèrement bombé. Très beau portrait. Revers de haut relief. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés

Reverse description : Bucrane d'antilope entre un ruban à gauche et un monogramme à droite ; le tout dans une couronne terminée par un croissant bouleté.
Commentary
Poids léger. Buste légèrement stylisé avec un menton proéminent aux extrémités bouletées.

The Himyarites are mentioned by Pliny (VI, 161). "Happy Arabia" was not part of the Roman Empire but was very important strategically for controlling the spice and silk route to and from India and China.
