Ces monnaies sont les copies des monnaies de 50 Centimes et 1 Franc Morlon en bronze-aluminium frappée de 1931 à 1941. La légende de revers “LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ” a été remplacée par “AFRIQUE OCCIDENTALE FRANÇAISE”.
