Reverse description : Temple tétrastyle à coupole semi ronde et à front triangulaire à l’intérieur, statue debout à gauche, tenant le Kyrekeion (caducée).

Commentary
Semble complètement inédit et non recensé. Manque au RPC online et à tous les ouvrages consultés. De la plus grande rareté. Les auteurs du Roman Provincial Coinage signalent un exemplaire avec le buste radié qui semble regravé (Hirsch 32, 1963, n° 1109).

AEMILIANUS

Emilian was governor of Moesia in 252, when Trebonian Galle entrusted him with the mission of repelling the Goths who had broken the Danubian limes. Emilien succeeds; he is proclaimed emperor by his troops. He marched on Italy and challenged Trebonian Galle and Volusian at Terni. Recognized by the Senate, he was finally assassinated in Spoleto by his soldiers who joined Valerian I.
