Très bel exemplaire sur un flan épais, centré des deux côtés. Joli portrait d’Aelius, bien venu à la frappe. Faiblesse au revers. Patine marron

Aélius receives the title of Caesar at the very end of 136. Consul in 137, he becomes Lucius Ælius Verus and is sent as governor to Pannonia in 137. Sick, he returns to Rome and dies on January 1, 138.
