Infimes traces de frottement dans les champs sinon un exemplaire superbe qui conserve une partie de son brillant d’origine et recouvert d’une légère patine. Hauts listels pour cette belle frappe, bien que fautée !

Commentary
Infime trace de cassure de coin sur une face visible à la loupe X 8 : minime au-dessus du U de REPUBLIQUE. Peut-être cela permettra-t-il de faire une liaison de coin un jour avec un exemplaire non fauté. On peut supposer que cette erreur a été rapidement détectée car cet exemplaire est le premier fauté de ce genre que nous ayons vu pour ces monnaies.

We can assume that this error was quickly detected because this example is the first faulty example of this kind that we have seen for these coins.
