Exemplaire sur un flan large et bien centré des deux côtés avec un défaut de tranche au revers à 12 heures. Très beau portrait inhabituel. Frappe un peu molle au revers. A été légèrement nettoyé anciennement et taché au revers. Recouvert d’une fine patine grise avec des reflets dorés

Vitellius was proclaimed on January 1 or 2, 69 by the armies of Germania. After Bédriac and the disappearance of Othon, in April 69, Vitellius moved to Rome in June. Vespasian was proclaimed by the army in Alexandria on July 1, 69 and Vitellius could not maintain himself.
