Flan scyphate, rond et épais. Droit lisse ou frappé avec un coin usé. Revers bien centré, mais avec une faiblesse de frappe sur les globules du centre

Tous les exemplaires dessinés dans le LA TOUR ont une représentation au droit, qu'il s'agisse de tête d'oiseau stylisée ou d'une couronne. Cet exemplaire uniface semble très rare.

VINDELICI (Germania, currently South Germany)
(2nd century BC - 1st century AD)
The Vindelicians were considered to be a people of Celtic origin. They possibly controlled the headwaters of the Rhine and the region of Lake Constance and the Inn valley. Their neighbors were the Helvetii and the Boii. Their main oppidum was Brigantion (Bregenz). They were submitted only by Tiberius during the campaign of 15 BC. Strabo (IV. 3, 6; VII, 1, 5); Pliny (HN. III, 133); Tacitus (An. II, 17); Ptolemy (G. II, 12). Kruta: 69.
