Commentary

Ce type d’obole, attribué à l’Allemagne du Sud, figure de façon erronée dans le Nouvel Atlas tome III, sous la série de fractions en argent des peuples de l'ouest.
Cet exemplaire a une petite hampe (?) bien visible entre les jambes du cheval.
This type of obol, attributed to South Germany, appears erroneously in the New Atlas volume III, under the series of silver fractions of the peoples of the West. This example has a small shaft (?) clearly visible between the horse's legs.
