Exemplaire sur un flan ovale bien centré avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait de Vétranion avec une usure superficielle. Revers de style fin. Patine marron foncé

Reverse description : L'empereur debout à gauche, vêtu militairement, surmonté d'une étoile, tenant dans chaque main un labarum chrismé.

VETRANIO

Commander in Illyria, Vetranion, is immediately proclaimed after the death of Constans. Constantia, Constance's sister and Hanniballien's widow, convinces him to accept the purple. Magnentius tries to negotiate with Vétranion who finally rallies to Constantius II. He abdicated before the Emperor on December 25, 350 and retired to Prusa in Bithynia, where he died in 356.
