Marie Charlotte Louis Josèphe Jeanne Antoinette d’Autriche, dite Marie Caroline est née le 13 aout 1752 à VIenne et morte dans la même ville le 8 septembre 1814. Elle est archiduchesse d’Autriche, reine consort de Naples et de Sicile jusqu’à la prise de pouvoir de Joseph Bonaparte en 1806. Elle s’exila en Sicile jusqu’en 1813.
