Commentary
En avril 1676, le roi arriva en Flandre. La ville de Condé fut prise le 26 avril, Bouchain assiété et prise le 12 mai. Aire tomba le 31 juillet. La ville de Maastricht, qui fut assiétée par le prince d’Orange, résista pendant 51 jours et les Hollandais furent forcés de se retirer. Il existe une médaille de Mauger qui reprend le même type.
