Médaille présentée dans son coffret, décernée à Mr Girard en 1979.

Roger Bertrand Baron, dit Roger Baron, né à Paris en 1907 et mort à Lalizolle (Allier) en 1994, est un sculpteur et médailleur français.

L'Académie nationale de médecine, fondée historiquement en 1731 à partir de l'Académie royale de chirurgie qui fut intégrée en 1820 dans l'Académie royale de médecine, est une société savante médicale située rue Bonaparte dans le 6e arrondissement de Paris, mais ne fait pas partie de l'Institut de France..
