Très bel exemplaire, avec une frappe bien nette sur un flan relativement large, avec un éclatement de frappe. Fine patine de collection ancienne

Commentary

Les légendes sont presque complètes et néanmoins très difficiles à transcrire en raison d'un mélange de lettres rétrogrades ou pas, centrifuges et centripètes. Au droit, la légende semble être lue dans le sens horaire alors qu'elle semble l'être dans le sens anti-horaire au revers.
Pour l'exemplaire B. 5716, A. de Belfort propose une dégénérescence d'un animal pour le motif indéterminé du droit.
The legends are almost complete and nevertheless very difficult to transcribe due to a mixture of retrograde or not, centrifugal and centripetal letters. On the obverse, the legend seems to be read clockwise while it seems to be read counterclockwise on the reverse. For copy B. 5716, A. de Belfort proposes a degeneration of an animal for the indeterminate reason on the obverse
