Commentary

Élisabeth Bowes-Lyon (1900-2002) épouse en 1923 Albert, le duc de York qui régnera entre 1936 et 1936 sous le nom de Georges VI. Elle est la reine consort du Royaume-Uni de 1936 à 1952 puis reine mère de 1952 à 2002. Extrêmement appréciée de ses sujets, elle décède à l’âge de 101 ans.
Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (1900-2002) married Albert, Duke of York, in 1923, who reigned from 1936 to 1936 under the name George VI. She was Queen Consort of the United Kingdom from 1936 to 1952 and then Queen Mother from 1952 to 2002. Extremely popular with her subjects, she died at the age of 101.
