Obverse description : Étoile à sept branches, émaillées de vert et anglées de raies d’argent. Médaillon central d’émail rouge portant une inscription en arabe, au-dessus d’un croissant.

Obverse translation : Celui qui est soutenu par le concours céleste, Abdul Aziz Khan, souverain de l'Empire ottoman.

Reverse

Reverse legend : 699 (DATE DE FONDATION DE L’EMPIRE).

Reverse description : Date au-dessus d’un trophée composé de drapeaux et tambours.

Commentary

Grande largeur : 61,5 mm.
Ruban vert bordé de rouge.
Exemplaire dans son écrin bordeaux à liseré doré avec feutrine et soie blanche écru, timbré S. GERMONT à Limoges.
Fondé en 1861, cette décoration était attribuée pour récompenser des services civils et militaires aussi bien aux ressortissants turcs qu'étrangers, jusqu’en 1922.
Large width: 61.5 mm. Green ribbon edged in red. Copy in its burgundy case with gold edging with felt and ecru white silk, stamped S. GERMONT in Limoges. Founded in 1861, this decoration was awarded to reward civil and military services to both Turkish and foreign nationals, until 1922
