Ce type correspond à la 20 Francs Turin fabriquée en métropole. Ce type est frappé de 1358 à 1361 de l’Hégire (1939 à 1942). Pour 1939, outre l’essai, 100.000 exemplaires furent frappés. Les autres millésimes ne le furent qu’à 53 exemplaires chacun et sont très rares.

(1881-1956)
The French protectorate of Tunisia was established by the Treaty of Bardo of May 12, 1881. The political, economic and social structures of the country were transformed and the monetary system was modeled on that of France with the adoption of identical modules.
